Senior Product Manager

Job Duties:

  • Understands and defines the market position and strategy for the game;

  • Responsible for marketing research to ensure 6waves’ games are competitive in the market;

  • Liaises with different departments to facilitate and drive communication (developer, engineer, art, design and business personnel). Provides motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved;

  • Maintain close communication with outside developers to ensure they meet contractual requirements;

  • Works with developer to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion;

  • Coordinates, tracks and manages the activities of game development, integration and live operation events to ensure tasks are completed on time;

  • Conducts QA and game testing to ensure tasks are completed in desired quality.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years product management experience;

  • Mobile game experience preferred;

  • Platforms integration experience preferred, especially for Facebook, iTunes Connects and Google Play;

  • Familiar with project management, time management and performance management;

  • Highly organized, professional, efficient with attention to detail;

  • Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate development and project goals in a clear, concise manner;

  • Data driven, able to provide game optimization proposal base on the game metrics analysis;

  • Team player;

  • Fluent communication and written skills in both Mandarin and English. Possession of other language skills would be a bonus;

  • Required to work in Hong Kong;

  • Love playing games!

User Acquisition Manager

Job Duties:

  • Have the know-how on user acquisition channels for mobile games to execute the most relevant user acquisition plan globally, especially in US and other English speaking regions.  Have the experience in Facebook campaign management is a MUST;

  • ROI-driven. Manage user acquisition, creative creation, and budget allocation for different vendors to yield the best ROI;

  • Very sensitive to numbers. track the effectiveness of user acquisition campaigns and implement continuous improvements and optimization;

  • Source, evaluate, and test new user acquisition channel;

  • Prepare regular reports or relevant documentation;

  • Account servicing with external partners/ vendors.


Job Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in related field of digital marketing/media buying/mobile user acquisition campaign management;

  • High familiarity with online social networking tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and emerging social platforms) and user acquisition channels;

  • Fluent communication in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin;

  • Strong analytic skills and experience with metrics driven decision-making;

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills;

  • Reliability, ability to work under tight deadlines;

  • Experience in account servicing and offline marketing is a plus;

  • Passion in Games;
